The previous poster host explains well, but I'd steer clear of GoDaddy for anything other than the purchase of domain names. I have used several hosting providers and found to be abysmal godaddy. Its confusing to the facility and its performance is unreliable. I had basic websites with 0 traffic take 10 seconds + to load housed with them. Call your support and are not a lot of help. I ipower for a while and thought they were better and control backend is undoubtedly much higher. I've also had good experiences with JustHost. Bluehost receives rave reviews from a lot of people too.
